Hollymead has a team of well-trained staff, and many of the staff have worked at the home for several years. The home underwent a refurbishment in 2015, resulting in the home’s attractive and luxurious surroundings.
Our rooms are continuously maintained to the highest standards to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. We are a family run home and being our only home ensures that we are focussed on a quality experience for those living with us on a long or short term basis.

Our 34 rooms are continuously maintained to the highest standards to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible.
24 hour personal care
We provide 24 hour personal care, a high staff-to-resident ratio and a selection of delicious meals prepared by our in-house catering team using locally sourced ingredients. We also have daily entertainment and a range of trips out.
Home from home experience
We aim to give you a truly home from home experience. We have 34 bedrooms including one large double-room exclusively for couples, and all our rooms are continuously maintained to the highest standards.
Activities and entertainment
We strongly believe that a good mixture of activities and entertainment is very important. We try and have a nice, varied balance of activities to suit different people’s tastes, such as quizzes, Tai Chi, cooking and an indoor bowling league.

We endeavour to tailor-make everybody’s individual care plan so that we ensure that everyone has full access to all services provided within Hollymead as well as in the local community.
Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information
We are currently open to visits by appointment only. The home remains Covid free. PCR testing is carried out weekly for staff and LFT is carried out 2 x per week by staff, resident tests are carried out every 4 weeks. All staff and Residents have had all vaccinations.
LFT testing is carried out for inside visits. Family and friends can book visits to see relatives in the bottom sun lounge.
